Thanks to many years of experience and state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to offer you customized and cost-effective tools. Kunststoff Bauer guarantees quality tools designed for both small and large batch sizes.
Bauer sources most new tools from selected partners in Germany, Europe, and Asia. External partners offer the advantage of their being able to fully focus on the new tool, while our toolmaking department also performs overhauls and modifications to existing tools. These tools are created according to specifications (DFM and design approval) agreed upon with our customers. After initial prototype testing, the tool is mounted on the series machine in question. From that point on, all dimensional reports, tool adjustments, and prototype testing until batch approval are carried out at Bauer in-house.
Our own toolmaking department can handle all necessary activities in-house. Machinery includes CNC milling and turning, conventional milling and turning, EDM, welding, etc. This ensures that the customer's tool does not need to leave our plant for any desired or necessary overhauls, repairs, or changes.

During the lifecycle of a tool, it is maintained at regularly scheduled intervals according to a predefined plan. The production cycles as well as all maintenance activities are logged and monitored through the BDE system, generating a seamless history.
